Family holiday in Maranza
Are you looking for a perfect location for your family holiday with swimming pool, farm, petting zoo and playground? Then the Huberhof will be the right place.
Here you will find space for the whole family with a breathtaking panorama view at 1300m. The hotel is located in Maranza, one of the most family-friendly destinations in South Tyrol. There are many hiking trails starting from the hotel, from the Gitschberg cable car and from Valle Altafossa nearby. In addition, the Gitschberg-Jochtal region offers four different mountain family parks:
Gitschberg Sun Park - starting directly at the Gitschberg mountain station
Here you will find the sun wagon, a human sundial, a sun telephone and a sun throne with slide. Climb up the sun arch or the sun bridge and slide down.
You will find wooden animals, a climbing igloo, a swing, a telescope and two refreshment huts as well.
Jochtal Adventure Park - starting directly at the Jochtal mountain station
Here you will find a short but nice family hike. On the 'Stoanermandl' platform you can enjoy an incredible panorama. There are adventures how the balance course, climbing deer or climbing bear.
Our tips for this family excursion are the forest bells, the water garden near the 'Ochsenalm' and the mini petting zoo.
Spinga bunker recreation area
The third family park is located just above the village of Spinga, about 20 minutes by car from the Huberhof. Here you rest, relax and play in the mountain meadows. The bunker can be visited several times a week with a guide. The observation tower and the quiet place in the middle of woods and meadows are worth it even without a guide.
Terento Recreation Park
The fourth and final family park is located in Terento, about 25 minutes by car from the Huberhof. This generous park offers a football pitch, tennis court, minigolf, volleyball court and table tennis. The area offers a zipline slide with a high ropes course, a Kneipp pond and water games. In the centre of Terento you will also find adventurous excursions such as the earth pyramids.
Family holiday in Maranza
The Panoramahotel Huberhof offers many services all year round. Activities with pony rides, farm visits and the petting zoo with ponies, rabbits and goats. Our labrador Akira is also waiting to pamper you.
In the hotel you will find table tennis, table football and two playstations for the older ones. In addition, the Huberhof offers an Actionpool for children.
