Haflinger horses, ponies, chickens, goats, alpaca, rabbits, and a dog are part of the Huberhof family. It’s impressive enough watching the graceful horses galloping through the paddock. At Huberhof, we place great importance on time spent together as a family, whether it’s inside the hotel or out in the fresh air. Your children will experience unforgettable adventures that they’ll be telling their friends about for a long time. On Monte Cuzzo/Gitschberg, right at the mountain station of the Nesselbahn lift, you’ll find the Sun Park, where there’s fun for all ages on swings, a giant slide, sun bridge, sun telephone, and much more. In Jochtal, you and your little ones can have a world of fun in the adventure park, which features a climbing bear, hammocks, a water park, and a glockenspiel and is located at the Jochtal mountain station.
Winter fun with the whole family
Our panoramic hotel is right at the heart of the Rio Pusteria/Gitschberg-Jochtal ski resort – no, not on the ski slopes, but in a peaceful location just below them. In winter, the ski resort holds countless surprises for little ones. Gimmy the marmot accompanies them on skiing courses and in the ski kindergarten, and teaches the next generation of downhill racers to ski in a fun way together with qualified ski instructors. So, even the smallest tots can learn to stand safely on their skis.
